Treasure Quest PC game review
Treasure Quest for PC. It in it’s own right has a lot of bad things to contribute to the gaming community. There was a prize that was awarded to whoever were to guess the solution to the game and submit an essay about it, would win like a million dollars. There is a conspiracy floating around that noone really one the money and the name of who won the money is a hoax. This is something I would not be suprized about at all. Has anyone ever met this guy? If so, I would sure like to met him just to ask him some questions. It just all seems fishy.
This game has many puzzles in it. There is stuff to figure out which you could use the libary to look up information to figure it out. The puzzles are too hard for me though, as you are suposted to figure out the right words out of jumbled letters, and take clues you get to help figure it all out. This is something a true genius would be able to figrue out, but it went way over my head.
There was one cool idea emplamented, and that was a phone ringing at certain times (or days?) but even this is poorlly excuted, because instead of answering the phone and having someone give you a clue, there is no one on the other end, and you get dead air. What good is that? You can call out to numbers you get, but just get an answering machine with the clues on those that seem useless.
There is one good thing about Treasure Quest, and that is the included soundtrack. Suposedly, there is clues that are in the lyrics, but I fail to make any connection w/these lyrics and any game clues. It does use great imagery pretaining to the game though. The music on the CD is the same you hear in the game, The style of music on the soundtrack is very good. I like to listen to it so much, I had to buy it from somewhere because I was only borrowing the game. The music gets stuck in your head and you are not able to get it out! Very good music, so buying this is worth it just for the soundtrack.
SPOILER ALERT- The game is really a let down. There is no ending so that makes it a dud. At least we got a good music soundtrack from it all.
PS-If you need help to unlock the puzzles, dont hesitate to comment, and I will email you what I got off the net a long time ago. I have all the answers and everything that you need.
You have a pretty nice little blog here. I like the post! I would suggest playing around and getting a color scheme going for it, but aside from that it looks like it will be awesome!
